Hello everyone! We are finally home and have returned from the beautiful beaches of Aruba. With all of the wedding planning going on I had so much on my plate that blogging took a backseat to life for a few weeks. I took so many great photos, but with lack of time my editing was impossible to fit in, so I have some awesome outfits to share from the past month or so, as well as our vacationing photos that I will post this week as well. 

The whirlwind of the wedding is now coming to a halt and all I can think back on are fond memories and overwhelming amounts of love from the people we care about most. I've never felt so much love in my entire life, and Ryan and I were on cloud 9 while honeymooning and looking back on the week we had with everyone in our lives.

Moving forward I feel the greatest I have ever felt. Not only motivated for my new branding and site, but also in life. I feel inspired, and excited about the Summer ahead. Sometimes life keeps us busy enough, and then slows down just in time to remind us that we need to enjoy the people we love, and the things we love. It's been a weird year for me, and many things have changed and continue to change, but it's all exciting and the opportunities are endless. 

I hope you guys are enjoying your Summer thus far, it's crazy to think we're halfway through June already! I can't wait to share more photos of our wedding/honeymoon on the blog, and I PROMISE more photos of the flamingos!

Spending My Summer With Schwinn!

Hello everyone!  I am super excited to be sharing yet another lovely post with Schwinn, except this time I am rocking this beautiful new bike called the Schwinn Radiant. This brand new model just hit stores recently, and is an absolute breeze to ride around the shore. Since the wedding is now over, I am very excited to be able to take this baby out more often and really enjoy it.

I am in the process of picking out the perfect basket, and cannot wait accessorize it. Here are my favorite choices- which one do you like the best? (wicker - vintage style - vintage creel basket) Of course I am leaning towards the vintage styles because I feel like this bike has such a retro feel to it. 

The day we took these photos the wind was a little crazy, but honestly nothing beats a bike ride in the summer. Our lives have changed drastically since getting the beach house and I am really looking forward to spending time with our families and friends every weekend. 

I may not be your "average cyclist" but I think I am a perfect example of how different and unique us Schwinn riders are. I am a fashion blogger who enjoys getting dressed up every day, but still yearns for adventure and exploration. I love to travel, and I love seeing and learning new things. I may look like I am going to a party, but that's just my normal get-up. I cannot wait to explore Island State Park with my new bikes, and I hope you'll join along for the ride!

Chambray All Day

 Hey guys!What a crazy few weeks it has been! I am still coming down from the highs of the wedding weekend and I wanted to pop in with some regular posting until we leave for our honeymoon tomorrow! The day of our rehearsal dinner and the day of the wedding both were equally the best days of our lives. We laughed, we cried, we drank, we ate. Everything couldn't have been more perfect with our families and friends.

I took these photos a few months ago but just got around to posting them due to the lack of time on my part. I am so excited to have some fun posts coming up this next week, and I will be live blogging from our hotel in Aruba!

We went through a lot of rainy days prior to the wedding so of course I was fearful the day of, but luckily we were blessed with sunny skies and (a little too much humidity) but at least it wasn't rain! I am in the process of transitioning the blog, and should be doing so within a day or two, and I cannot wait for you guys to see the new layout and platform Chelcey (my designer) and I have been working on. Hope you guys are enjoying your summer, and I cannot wait to have some awesome content (including video!) very soon. Love you guys!

Sundress Life

Hey guys! Happy Tuesday! Unfortunately I am back from South Carolina, which means back to normal weather and normal life. I got to spend some quality time with one of my best friends and two new friends on a remote island by the name of Daufuskie, which is right in the middle of South Carolina and Savannah. It was so great to get away for a few days, and really try to relax. We drove golf carts everywhere, got to eat some southern cooking, and got to meet some of the locals, which included a lot of animals (we're talkin' alligators, raccoons, deer and black faced squirrels). My one regret is not bringing my camera with me to document it, but if you follow me on snapchat, I'm sure you got more than enough of it! (@littletreemaria- follow along for some fun sing alongs and silly accents).

I have been so obsessed with flowers this season. I stop at the flower shop at least once a week to pick up some blooms for the house, I feel like they make every room look and smell so much better. It's completely worth it to spoil yourself sometimes, am I right? Peonies are finally in season, and of course like every other blogger, I LOVE THEM. Peonies are the main flowers in our wedding bouquets so I am really excited that they're in season just in time for us to use them.

Less than three weeks till the wedding so I am a busy woman- but trying to enjoy the last few things on my to-do list before the big day is here. I am pretty excited that some of my family is flying in from overseas, and excited to have all of our friends under one roof, all celebrating with us. It can't come soon enough!

May Showers Bring June Flowers?

Hey everyone, and Happy Monday! Today is the first day in over a week that New Jersey hasn't had a spot of rain. I almost had no hope that it would clear up any time soon, but I was happy to wake up with the sun shining brightly above. Although it's starting to disappear now, I will take clouds over rain any day. 

I cannot believe that in less than 4 weeks I will be a married woman! It all seems so crazy and quick, but I can't wait for the day to arrive. I have been busy planning, and ordering things, and trying to make sure that all my ducks are in a row before the big day. I have wanted to share little details of everything but I am waiting for a full re-cap after the wedding is through- as to not ruin any surprises! I am excited for the day, and excited to see how everything I envisioned will play out in real life. It's hard to picture things without having them in front of you- but I feel like I have done a pretty good job at making sure I pay attention to every detail that is important to me. 

I hope all of you are having a great Spring, and I am sure I speak for all of us when I say that Summer needs to hurry up and get here already!

THE BLUES

Shades of blue never go out of style. With Spring in full effect I am dreaming of outfits that scream out for the Summer! I have never worn a matching two piece set, so this is all new to me. I do however love how easy and versatile it is. With a pair of nude heels on my feet, I felt like I could conquer the world in this outfit.

Today marks one month from our wedding date and I cannot wait for the day to be here already! With all the plans in place, we are days away from saying our I Do's and that thought is just crazy! I am not sure where the past 9 months have gone but I am so excited to begin this next phase in our lives.

Murals & Things

I happen to live very close to this gorgeous mural and every time I walk by, and I can't help but want to do a photo opp. It's in a really cute part of the downtown Highland park area, and I love how much art is everywhere, it really makes the town stand out as you drive through.

My outfits as of late have been super simple, and comfortable. This dress is the ultimate in comfort. I love a chunkier heel (I can't walk in stilletos) so these chunky sandals are a huge part of my wardrobe lately. I finally got my hands on a few espadrilles as well, and I am SO excited about incorporating those into my outfits too.

The older I get, the more I realize that having high quality, staple pieces is the way to go. I used to shop at stores that were pretty cheap (and I still do- but not as often) but then I realized I was collecting quantity over quality. As my style transitions, I love picking pieces I can wear over and over again, and match with different things. 

This clutch caught my eye over a year ago, and when ShopBop had their sale, I just had to snag it. It's perfect for an every day look, but also can be dressed up and used to accessorize a dress worn to a wedding, or special event.
