Hello everyone! We are finally home and have returned from the beautiful beaches of Aruba. With all of the wedding planning going on I had so much on my plate that blogging took a backseat to life for a few weeks. I took so many great photos, but with lack of time my editing was impossible to fit in, so I have some awesome outfits to share from the past month or so, as well as our vacationing photos that I will post this week as well. 

The whirlwind of the wedding is now coming to a halt and all I can think back on are fond memories and overwhelming amounts of love from the people we care about most. I've never felt so much love in my entire life, and Ryan and I were on cloud 9 while honeymooning and looking back on the week we had with everyone in our lives.

Moving forward I feel the greatest I have ever felt. Not only motivated for my new branding and site, but also in life. I feel inspired, and excited about the Summer ahead. Sometimes life keeps us busy enough, and then slows down just in time to remind us that we need to enjoy the people we love, and the things we love. It's been a weird year for me, and many things have changed and continue to change, but it's all exciting and the opportunities are endless. 

I hope you guys are enjoying your Summer thus far, it's crazy to think we're halfway through June already! I can't wait to share more photos of our wedding/honeymoon on the blog, and I PROMISE more photos of the flamingos!

May Showers Bring June Flowers?

Hey everyone, and Happy Monday! Today is the first day in over a week that New Jersey hasn't had a spot of rain. I almost had no hope that it would clear up any time soon, but I was happy to wake up with the sun shining brightly above. Although it's starting to disappear now, I will take clouds over rain any day. 

I cannot believe that in less than 4 weeks I will be a married woman! It all seems so crazy and quick, but I can't wait for the day to arrive. I have been busy planning, and ordering things, and trying to make sure that all my ducks are in a row before the big day. I have wanted to share little details of everything but I am waiting for a full re-cap after the wedding is through- as to not ruin any surprises! I am excited for the day, and excited to see how everything I envisioned will play out in real life. It's hard to picture things without having them in front of you- but I feel like I have done a pretty good job at making sure I pay attention to every detail that is important to me. 

I hope all of you are having a great Spring, and I am sure I speak for all of us when I say that Summer needs to hurry up and get here already!

Murals & Things

I happen to live very close to this gorgeous mural and every time I walk by, and I can't help but want to do a photo opp. It's in a really cute part of the downtown Highland park area, and I love how much art is everywhere, it really makes the town stand out as you drive through.

My outfits as of late have been super simple, and comfortable. This dress is the ultimate in comfort. I love a chunkier heel (I can't walk in stilletos) so these chunky sandals are a huge part of my wardrobe lately. I finally got my hands on a few espadrilles as well, and I am SO excited about incorporating those into my outfits too.

The older I get, the more I realize that having high quality, staple pieces is the way to go. I used to shop at stores that were pretty cheap (and I still do- but not as often) but then I realized I was collecting quantity over quality. As my style transitions, I love picking pieces I can wear over and over again, and match with different things. 

This clutch caught my eye over a year ago, and when ShopBop had their sale, I just had to snag it. It's perfect for an every day look, but also can be dressed up and used to accessorize a dress worn to a wedding, or special event.
