Creme & Fur

I wore this outfit while braving the cold temperatures of NYC last weekend for Lulus Style Studio. I met up with long time pal , Lauren and had a blast of course. I've attended this event three years in a row and always have a great time so I am so glad I went! The cold weather definitely put a slight damper on the travel but overall it wasn't too bad. Between trains, uber and taxis we made it there and back safe & sound. This fur vest and cozy jacket kept me pretty warm throughout my travels, and although I don't have any photos of the event, I am glad I didn't lug my huge camera around because that thing is HEAVY.

When I first started blogging I brought a lot more things with me to events. I also got more dressed up when I first started but nowadays, I keep it simple with a cozy outfit and comfortable heels! Dressing up is fun too, don't get me wrong but sometimes(especially when travel is concerned) comfort comes first!

Cherry Lips , Crystal Skies

On a sunny day like today, even the snow can't keep me down. I am loving my new camo pants, and this outfit makes me feel like Spring is coming. I know in my last post I talked a lot about finding the right pants, and my quest continues! I actually just got these pants in the mail yesterday and I am in love with the length and sizing. They cut off conveniently right at the ankle which is great because I don't have to worry about the length. These pants are also called "curvy" pants which helps shorter ladies who happen to be curvier in the booty area.

I got this sweater a few months ago and I really love it paired with these pants. This outfit was just what I needed for my busy day out. I hope you guys have a great weekend!

Lulus Party Perfect For The New Year

When the New Year is upon us, I can't help but think of the perfect dress for the perfect occasion. I was never one to go out and go crazy, but the past few years I have had a blast going out dancing with my friends. I love the idea of a classy black bodycon dress, and lately I have been obsessed with back details in dresses. This dress is perfect for a night out on the town, and i love how it accentuates my waistline perfectly.

Lulus Party Perfect For The Holidays

Getting ready for the perfect holiday party? Lulu*s has you all set this year. From my head to my toes, I feel more confident than ever rocking my little black dress. I usually don't like to get too dressed up on a regular basis, but the holidays call for celebrations, and that means finding the perfect dress, and the perfect pair of strappy shoes.

I love the idea of a simple black dress and I love the neckline on this cute black dress. It hugs in all the right places, and makes me feel confident and classy. The most important thing a woman needs during the holidays is a nice dress, and comfortable shoes, am I right? Lulus helped me find the perfect party dresses this season, and I can't wait to show you the other one I picked! I love simplicity, and the two black dresses I am wearing for Christmas and New Years take the cake.

Burgundy Dreams

I don't own anything in burgundy until now, and I really love this color for Fall. A pair of comfy boots, striped skinnies and a sweater is perfect for the windy weather we've had lately. I took a slight hiatus last week, between everything going on I needed a blogger break, so I took my time this weekend just getting everything together. I worked for homecoming this past weekend too, so it's been a hectic few days, but I am happy it's Monday again, and things can go back to normal.

I am almost finished with my website for vintage, and I also have a new layout for the blog also coming up! Really excited to debut both, it's a really big month for Little Tree.

Country Pumpkin

Still feeling this back to school theme and what says "back to school" like plaid, am I right? This dress fits perfectly and the pattern has my favorite colors in it, so of course it's a going to be a huge layering piece in my fall closet. I love dresses like this that can be easily remixed with other pieces. I picture myself layering with a huge comfy sweater and eternity scarf, and maybe even some colored tights to bright out the red that flows throughout the dress.

If it's one thing I love, it's the FALL, and lucky for me, it just started. I try to think of Fall as a time of change. A time when everything comes full circle and we can all start over again. I know most people associate a "change" with the New Year but for me a change in the weather starts to make me feel more balanced, and more aware of my goals. I think of Fall as a time to work on things we've put off in those Summer months, and a time when you really push yourself. I think that is also due to the school year starting in September. We are trained at a young age to associate certain months with putting in work, and I guess it has carried over this long.

Do certain months remind you of certain things? And if so , has it carried over into adulthood?

Summer Trends With Lulus. Com : Gladiator Sandals

Happy Tuesday guys! This is the last and final installment of my summer trends, and I had such a fun time doing all of these. If you haven't kept up with these posts, here are some past ones. (Flower Crowns  / Americana / Crochet) Gladiators are one of my favorite trends this summer and even though it's an old trend that carried over, I still LOVE it.

Maybe it's the inner Greek in me, but either way I love the way they look, and I really love the fact that I feel like I am wearing boots, but they're actually sandals. It bridges the fall look into summer pretty well :)

What are your favorite summer trends?

Things have been pretty busy around these parts. I am either working, or running around trying to keep up with life. As usual there are never enough hours in the day, but I am trying to make my Summer days count. Above everything I am trying to fill my life with the things that make me happy, because ultimately that's what matters. I can't believe today is the first of July. Where did the time go?

Two more months of the hot sun is more than enough for me. As usual I am dreaming about Fall already. The grass is always greener, right?

Summer Trends With Lulus.Com : Flower Crowns

Why do I love flower crowns so much? Because they can literally take any boring, plain outfit , and make it seem magical. I love the whimsical tone it adds to summer outfits, and it really makes me feel like I belong in a fairy tale sometimes. Call it childish, but there's something beautiful about flowers in your hair, especially colorful ones. I am in love with this flower crown from Lulus. Here are two other favorites of mine from their site.

I have a few more summer trends to share with you guys this month, and I am really excited to showcase all of the styles I think are going to be huge hits. Summer Trends With Lulus.Com : Crochet

Hey guys! This month I am super excited to share this mini series with you about discovering new trends for the summer. I always try to incorporate current trends into my personal style, and I find a way to make it work for me. One of my favorite trends this summer is definitely crochet tops and dresses. I really love the beautiful stitching and the lace detailing that goes into making a crochet piece. I also think it dresses the clothing item up and makes it look even more unique with a bohemian vibe that's perfect for any occasion.

What are your favorite trends this summer? Stay tuned I'll be showing some more of my favorite trends in the next few weeks!

Here are some of my favorite crochet pieces from Lulus.Com
