Black Tunic Dress & Uncommon Goods

The holidays always call for black. I love wearing neutral colors when the weather starts getting chillier. Although, if you're in the NJ area, you've realized that it shot up to 70 degrees today. So strange for mid December, but I'll take I guess. Today I teamed up with Uncommon Goods and I am so excited to be wearing some of their beautiful handmade pieces. With the holidays around the corner, it's always important to find the right gift, and usually unique, one of a kind pieces are what I gravitate towards for all of the women in my life. This necklace is super cute, and has my astrological sign imprinted on it, which I love.

These awesome handmade bracelets are the perfect pop to my outfit. I love that they all match in material, but all have their own look and style. If you haven't heard of Uncommon Goods before, here is some information on what they stand for and what they do:

Founded in 1999 and headquartered in Brooklyn, New York, UncommonGoods is a privately-owned retailer that endeavors to feature unique jewelry, designer décor, and handcrafted gifts created in harmony with the environment without harm to animals or people. We run all our operations out of the historic Brooklyn Army Terminal, including our warehouse, where the lowest-paid seasonal worker starts at 50% above the minimum wage. We make it our mission to support and provide a platform for artists and designers; in fact, half of what we sell is made by hand. Most of the jewelry products we carry are created right here in the USA, and about one-third of our entire collection incorporates recycled and/or upcycled materials. At the core of our company is a great respect for the integrity of the creative individual and the belief that it is our responsibility to use our business to impact the world in a positive way.

My favorite part of the holidays is supporting companies that stand for a great cause. I have always been a huge fan of Uncommon Goods, and I highly recommend their products. Not only do they produce beautiful work, but everything is handcrafted and unique. They also donate to a few non-profits, which is even more reason to support their mission. If you haven't already, go take a peek at their jewelry selection- you won't be disappointed!!
