Hi guys! I am officially back from my trip to Minnesota. After a long plane/subway/train ride, we made it home late last night and I am back to reality today, and back to work. This is one of the outfits I took while out visiting my family. My Aunt lives in this gorgeous new development that is surrounded by trees, man made lakes and beautiful scenery all around. I was lucky enough to be around this every single day, and if any of you know me, you'll know that I am obsessed with weeping willow trees. I wanted to sleep under one every single night, they are so beautiful, big and just amazing. I'm pretty sure my future house is going to have a huge one in the backyard, and I want to sit under it and read every day...maybe even get a little swing, who knows. I really want one! After we took these shots I also took some engagement photos for my cousin and her fiancee. It was really fun to take a walk, and feel relaxed. It's been ages since I stepped away from the computer, and blogging, and I won't lie- I needed it. Although I had posts lined up before hand, I actually didn't spend much time checking emails, etc...and I was in 100% relax mode. I definitely need to take more of these trips.
We did so much on our trip, and I will be recapping in the next few days, so I won't get into too much now, but I am sure if you follow me on instagram you already know what's coming. We ate a lot, went to valley fair, saw Lake Minnetonka , went to the "beach" and had a lot of family time. My heart feels extremely happy, and I always feel so much better after seeing everyone. I also want to thank everyone for their comments/messages on yesterday's post, you guys are the best, you sure know how to make a lady feel like a million bucks. Hope you have an awesome Monday, and a great week! I can't wait to show you guys all of the awesome photos I have!

Willow Trees always get me humming songs about them!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you seemed to have had a lovely time.
I also love willow trees, I remember this one outside of our house when I was a kid, when the air blew the leaves all over in kind of like slow motion, it kind of made me feel nostalgic and relaxed for some reason, but I think willow trees have that effect on people..
ReplyDeleteYou looked lovely, I love your shirt and necklace. It is great that you had such a good time, I can relate, I also took some days off and stayed away from my computer for two days and it actually felt good, today I was kind of dreading using going back to using it and going on the internet lol.

ReplyDeleteI love willow trees. I think they are so relaxing, and I would love to have access to one in my yard. Maybe one day. Also, glad to hear you had such a relaxing trip, I think I might need one of those soon! You look absolutely adorable. I love those floral pants.
ReplyDeletewoah, you loo so different without glasses! i love the first shot, with the huge willow tree. they're my favorite, so romantic (and i think of Pocahontas every time!)
ReplyDeleteI'm obsessed with willow trees as well- everyone tells me I'm weird! They think they look depressing and ugly, but I find them beautiful.
