What's In My Gym Bag ?

I won't lie ladies- my gym bag is jam packed. I usually need to make sure that it's full of everything I need to get me from point A to point B. Although showering at the gym isn't my favorite thing to do, I sometimes have to do what's best for the time constraints I am given. I try to ask myself a few things when packing my bag in advance- so that way I have everything I need. Here are the thoughts that go through my head...


A. What could go wrong?
B. What do you use to feel fresh and new?
C. How can I make this the best workout ever?

The truth is, sometimes we need to be extra prepared. I can't tell you how many times I've been at the gym and my headphones have broken, or my hair tie has ripped, or even worse (Aunt Flo paid a visit) I try to be as prepared as possible for these instances that could occur at any time. Comfortable Sneakers (I usually wear sandals to the gym, and switch in the locker room)

Coffee (my pre-workout)
Headphones *don't ever leave the house without them!*

What's In My Beach Bag? With Bottled Starbucks® Iced Coffee

When I hear Summer, I immediately think of the beach. I haven't made it to the beach as much as I would like this year, but the few times I have gone, I always bring pretty much the same things with me. Something that stays truly consistent with my beach trips, is wanting to stay hydrated, and energized. 1. Saltwater Sandals to shield your toes from that hot sun! I love these vintage inspired salt waters because they are the perfect color for summer. Comfortable too!
2. Big floppy hats! If you don't have an umbrella, a hat is the next best thing.
3. Shades for your beautiful eyes.  These fun ones are from Urban and I love bringing them out every Summer!
4. Sun Bum SPF tanning lotion. Self explanatory of course. Always stay protected from the sun!
5. Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Quest bar. It's a perfect meal replacement when you're on the go, and it's healthy too. High in fiber & protein, these bars are my favorite.
6. Bumble & Bumble Hairdresser's Invisible Oil Heat/UV primer for hair. This stuff is perfect for wet hair, especially hair being exposed to the sun. Spray it in after you've had a swim in the ocean or pool, and let it work its magic.
7. My favorite Bottled Starbucks® Iced Coffee. Caramel is my favorite flavor and Vanilla is a close second! I am running on coffee all day long and these bottles fit easily into a beach bag on the go. I really love how consistent the taste is, and how it doesn't need any added sugar.
8. Headphones - extremely necessary when laying on the beach. I get bored very easily so these are important to have, and make sure you stock up on your favorite music too, soundcloud & spotify are my favorite music apps!

What's In My Bag?

I like keeping my bag nice and simple usually, even though my bags are usually HUGE, I hardly ever fill them to the brim. Here are some of the things I bring into the city with me everyday. Wallet of course, cocoa butter swivel stick , hand sanitizer (NYC has tons of germs!) , makeup bag (for those daily touch ups), A little notebook to jot down blog ideas, anything inspiring or something in my head that deserves to be remembered. Also can't forget my twist bands and my urban ears. Can't leave home without my music, and of course by the end of the way I really need a hair tie because my hair is usually wild and all over the place.
