The Sun Will Come Out...Tomorrow

Since I got home from Texas I have been freezing with this awful cold weather. Even with the rain the Texas weather was a lot more tolerable than this! I keep thinking about Spring and hoping that the warmer weather finds its way here soon. This dress reminds me of Annie, and honestly part of the reason why I purchased it is because it's been a lifelong goal to dress up as Annie for Halloween. I now own a dress that could make this dream a reality. Now all I need is a huge red wig and someone to dress up as Sandy the dog.

My head seems to be thinking about so much since I got home- the ideas and the thoughts keep coming. I learned a lot on my weekend away, and there were a few things that I really want to implement in my blog that I feel like I have strayed away from. Something I have always wanted is to bridge the gap between being too personal, and not being personal enough. I know this space is mainly for inspiration, but I would love to reach people on a deeper level as well.

There are so many topics I want to talk about in the upcoming months, and on my plane ride I compiled a long list of ideas I have. It's been a long time since I can say I have felt this inspired, and for that I am so grateful. We all need a push in the right direction sometimes, and I think this trip was my turning point.

  1. This dress reminds me of Annie when I see it too, but in a good way! I really like the white collar on it. The fringe boots are a great addition to the girly dress!
