A Touch Of Marsala

Outfit posts seem harder to come by nowadays! I have been finding myself so busy since the holidays, and the days just seem to zip right past me. It's so cold outside and my to-do list is overflowing so I am trying to prioritize accordingly. One thing is for sure, I am enjoying my new year thus far, and I have had a great few weeks. I got some great news regarding my blog, and have done some pretty awesome photo shoots so I am excited to debut those in a few weeks.

It just so happens that the color of the year is also the color of my favorite poncho. Anything over-sized, with a 70's vibe and a cowl neck is pretty much ideal for me these days. I find myself coveting the warmer tones and comfortable outfits during the wintery dreary months. Once the weather heats up a little it's back to bright neons and fun patterns. 

This weather has also been making it tough to leave the house. It's so easy to get wrapped up in work, cuddle up with the puppy on the couch and forget that there are other things that need to be done, but I must stay motivated! I signed up for a fitness challenge that starts next week, and I am so excited about it. It lasts about two months, and is pretty intense, but I feel like I need that after the way I ended the year. Between being sick, and run down- I know my body needed the break, so now I am back and better than ever. 

It's fine to take a break, as long as you come back better than before, and I have a great feeling about this year. I just know it's going to be the best one yet!
