A Very Snowy Date Night

I am pretty in love with this outfit. Our Marshalls challenge this month was our date night, and I was so happy to shop for it! I have wanted a vegan leather skirt for the longest time, and when I finally found one that fit I knew it was for me. Since I love mixing patterns and fabrics I chose to wear this sweater with it and really loved how they paired together. This jacket was also an awesome find, I love the fur lining and the belt, it helps keep the warmth in, and definitely helps us petite women have more of a waist.

I wanted to be dressed up, but not over the top, and this was the perfect mix of that. It was one of those nights that I felt really pretty and excited to go out on the town. I haven't had a lot of free time to do fun things lately, so this was really treat for me.

For my date night I chose Steakhouse 85, which is in New Brunswick, NJ. I chose this restaurant because I had never been there, and thought it would be the perfect spot to have a nice hearty meal. We had such a blast, and the atmosphere was perfect. I would definitely go back in the future. I had the petite filet mignon, and finished the night with a glass of Bailey's on the rocks and a banana split...Pure perfection. Everyone deserves a cheat day, right?
