Let The Light Leak In

Details: Shorts/Top // Urban Outfitters, Hat // F21 , Shoes // Marshall's

I took these photos over two months ago when it started getting warm...you can really tell because my skin is reflecting the sun since I was so so pale..When I first took these I hated the photos immensely. Despised them completely, every, single, one. I decided not to put them up. While cleaning my computer I stumbled upon them the other day and something about them just made me change my mind. I'm like that sometimes...I need to really sit and think about things before I can take action...Sometimes my mind changes, and sometimes it doesn't, but I am definitely a person who values thought, and not rushing into action until I am 100% ready.

This summer has been full of transitions for me. As the summer is starting to fizzle away I find myself more motivated, and more on track that I was a few months ago. I really took a lot of this time to reevaluate my wants and needs, and to also take some time to find myself, and what I love to do. It's not often we get a chance to sit back and watch things go by, I'm usually the one rushing the clock trying to piece the pieces all together. I must say, NOT doing that, is pretty spectacular.

I am really excited for the fall. I am excited to take some day trips, enjoy the weather, and of course I am already planning fall outfits in my head. I wouldn't be a good blogger if I didn't , right? Also , can't really wait for pumpkin spiced LIFE. That stuff is too good to be true. For some reason the seasons changing is a very inspiring time for me. I find that the most beautiful things happen as the seasons change, not only outfits, temperatures, and activities...but with new seasons, come new aspirations, and new deadlines for me to become a better "me". A chance to make things right again.

  13. I just love fall. I always feel happier when the weather starts to cool down and I have have everything pumpkin and apple flavored. I wish I would've taken more time to actively figure my crap out this summer, but I'm really glad you were able to do that!
