I've Seen The World, Lit It Up

The past few days have been rainy and dreary, although last night it definitely cleared up for a little while and the night made it a bit easier to deal with. Today I woke up with my phone blaring from an emergency alert flood warning the town sent out. Great way to wake up if you ask me. I spent a few more minutes cuddled under the blankets this morning because honestly as much as I say I hate this weather, it gives me a chance to climb into my little cave and pretend I have nothing to do.

Also gives me a chance to play some serious rainy tunes, and even bust out the record player. I could sit and listen to music all day long and never get bored. I always knew rainy days served a purpose, and as I get older I seem to understand it more. A chance to refresh your mind and reflect..Sometimes we all need days like that.

  3. Lovely post! Love your shoes! Rainy days over here = pancakes (or crepes as you might know them). We are also experiencing floods at the moment, we even have snow on the mountains. I love this weather but I'm secretly longing for Spring :)

  5. I definitely appreciate rainy days now more than I ever used to. It gives me an excuse to not do anything. Or stay in all day. Which is what needs to be done sometimes!

Anyway, I really love your cute little bike earrings. Those red shoes look awesome with your striped skirt too!

  6. It's awfully gloomy in my neck of the woods as well. I've decided to make tea and read blogs all afternoon because that's what you're supposed to do when it's drizzly outside, right? Love the skirt, and I almost snagged those bike earrings as well.
