Thursday Haul

Hey guys! I am trying something new today, and something I hope you guys will enjoy. As some of you may know I am a huge Sephora fan, but also a huge fan of trying new products, especially beauty related. I wanted to start posts like this to give you guys a little bit of an insight as to what products I use on a daily basis, and what I like/dislike about them. I surprisingly get a lot of questions regarding my makeup and beauty routine, so I think this will be a fun feature to add on every week. Hope you guys enjoy, and let me know if you have any questions or have any suggestions of products to try!

Tarte Maracuja C-Brighter Eye Treatment- $38
This is one of my new favorite products. I love the packaging, and I also love how smooth and thin it is, I think that's important for an eye cream. I haven't been using it very long but so far I have noticed a slight difference in my under eye circles.

This is coming from someone who never wore foundation, I LOVE THIS STUFF. It goes on smooth, blends in nicely, and definitely doesn't leave you with that "cakey" finish most foundations do. I went into sephora and one of the people working there actually helped me find one to fit my skin tone, I think this definitely helps when you don't know what you're looking for.
Tresemme Dry Shampoo-$5.29
Before buying Tresemme I was using PSSST dry shampoo, and I didn't really see much of a difference to be honest.  I probably use this product about once-twice a week depending on my schedule and it definitely makes a difference on those days when I need an extra boost. Only downfall is it turns your scalp white until you brush it through.

Sugar Rose & Sugar Fresh - $50 (pack of three)
I got these two little lip treatments as samples in my last sephora order and I really love them! The one on the right is more of a lip protector while the one on the left is the slight tint of red, which isn't over powering in its color. I definitely think I would buy the full size of these two lip treatments and I am happy I got them as a sample to try out first!

This was a complete impulse buy. Sephora definitely knows what they're doing when they put all the cute stuff by the register. I am not much of a lip gloss girl, but when it's based on more natural ingredients I definitely don't mind trying it out. Most of the other lip glosses I have tried end up drying my lips out.  This balm smells delicious and doesn't dry your lips out at all, it also helps that it comes in the cutest vintage inspired container. I love it!

What products have you been using lately?

  1. Ohhh, the lip treatments look like they would be great.

  2. I love Sugar's lip treatments! I think I should try Tarte's under eye cream because I get under eye puffiness.

Lately, I've been using Benefit's Some Kind of Gorgeous concealer and it gives great coverage. It's creamy in the container but turns more powdery when you put it on. Also, I just bought two of Revlon's Just Bitten lip stains, so I'm excited to try those!
    Sincerely, Sara

  3. Tarte didn't work so well for me but I just think that I live in a really hot dry climate so that affected me, but I do still use their concealer and its my favorite I've ever had. I notice with that dry shampoo that if I spray only a light quick spray under my roots that it works better and leaves less white. I do still brush it though. That lip balm looks so cool! I want to try it now! I love posts like these!

  4. I've never used an eye brightner of any sort, but have terrible under eye circles. Sounds like a good product to try!

  5. I LOVE the Fresh Sugar lip treatments and had a few but one got lost :( And the other one melted in my purse last summer! Bad. Also, I use dry shampoo all the time :) Love this post

  6. I looooove those Sugar lip treatments! I looked for them at Sephora after my samples ran out, but they're so pricey!

  7. Great haul! As a makeup junkie myself, I always love to hear what other bloggers are using at the moment :) I've been liking Tarte products more and more lately- the Amazonian Clay foundation really does sound amazing!

  8. I gotta try that Tarte Amazonian Clay! I have such a hard time with foundation. The Sugar Rose, Sugar Fresh and Strawberry Lip Balm all sound amazing. I absolutely LOVE this post. I adore make-up and finding, plus trying, new products.
