Tiny In Plaid

Details: Dress- Hollister // Tilde Wedges- Courtesy of Blowfish Shoes
Rings- (bunny ears) Modcloth & (amethyst) Vintage
Earrings- UO Leggings- TJ Maxx

First and foremost, doesn't my Mom take awesome pictures? I have trained her well, she knew exactly what to do! I love this dress so much, I can't remember how long ago I bought it but I feel like the style & cut is perfect for my size/shape. I love the high waistline and A-line cut of the bottom half. Once the nice weather hits I pretty much live in dresses, or any kind of halter top, I pretty much look forward to coming home from work so I can change into my "normal" outfit for the day.

We took these shots on Friday when it was still beautiful out, and since last night it's been pouring here in New Jersey. Hopefully it will clear up so the rest of the week can be enjoyable but from what it sounds like on the news, NJ was having a lot of brush fires, so we probably needed this rainfall. The weekend seems to fly by even quicker when working a whole shift on a Sunday, lucky for me I didn't miss much, except a bunch of rain!

Anyway, I hope you guys have a great week, and if you haven't already check out the awesome giveaway I have going on right now. Win $100 to Lulu's, $20 gift credit to Rissy Roo's and an outfit from Closet Groupie!

  7. I am totally with you on the living in halters over the summer. I try to get by with as little clothing as possible. That sounded worse than I meant it. : )

P.s. I know we live so incredibly close to one another, I would love to do a blogger get together soon with Jen from "House of Jeffers" too! Drinks, dinner, laughs...drinks? I think it'd be fun.

  16. Oh I've totally tapped multiple family members for doing outfit photos. My mom was super patient with me asking for specifics, but my partner is still my hand's down favorite. I can't believe how patient he is! He's even at the point where he'll reposition me, or look for weird shadows. It's awesome.

Families are excellent, as is that outfit. I love the colors on that dress!
