Although I work most of the day and I don't get to appreciate the sunlight, I do get to appreciate the beautiful night sky that comes after a long at work. That is enough to fuel my days. The colors of the sky the other night were so breathtaking that I don't even think photographing could really do it justice. It's that greyish-purplish-blueish glow that I long for, after a long day. It reminds me that Spring is here, and that even after a long day cooped inside, I can come out and enjoy a beautiful night sky. I hope you all had a beautiful week, and I can't wait for the weekend. Although Greek Easter is next weekend, I am still going to celebrate with Alex and his family this weekend, and I hope(crossing my fingers) that the weather cooperates and I can enjoy a beautiful few days of sunlight and blue skies. It has been an amazing week, and I thank each and every one of you for taking the time to comment, tweet, email and text regarding my recent acceptance into FIT. You have no idea how great it feels to know that so many people believe in my passion, and want me to pursue it. Have a great Thursday everybody! Enjoy the weather and your loved ones!
Your pictures are beautiful! The sun is nice but sometimes after a long day, you just want a zen moment like that. Thx for sharing!
ReplyDeleteGreat pics! Sometimes, the little details and moments are so large!

Even though New Jersey gets a bad rep, I definitely think our summer and spring nights can be very beautiful.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your acceptance! Perhaps after the holidays you're available to grab lunch?

DeleteMmmm Easter, I can't wait to overdose on Peeps and anything egg-shaped. And yo get two of them!
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are lovely. My parents live in a forest preserve and whenever I visit them I love sitting on their porch and watching the sky change into that color behind all the trees. It reminds me of the night getting tie-dyed.
that sounds amazing!
DeleteThese are beautiful! That twilight time of day is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteThat sky is breathtaking! Reminds of the colour of the bluey purpley hyacinths.
