3 *Free* Ways To Spruce Up Your Home For Spring!

Transitioning from Winter to Spring is my favorite! We get to put away all the blankets and heavy boots, and we can take out bits of color and brightness to bring everything together. Today I want to share my 3 tips on sprucing up your home for Spring! My style is very vintage/antique inspired, so keeping that feel all year long is very important to me. Along with keeping my theme consistent, I also love a clean house.

I am the type of person who considers herself very neat and organized. I think that keeping your home the same way, maintains a level of organization in other parts of your life as well. That's where Pledge Lemon Clean comes into play. It helps me keep my house feeling clean, refreshed and revitalized. When I think of the Spring, I think of Spring cleaning in every way. Making the house feel that warmth of the air coming in from the breeze. Wiping everything down in the house and giving it life again, Spring is such a great season isn't it?

Without further adieu, here are my three *free* tips for sprucing up your house this Spring:

1. *Move plants around to liven up the room!*
I love my indoor plants. I have successfully kept them alive for a few years now, and I am truly happy about that. Once Spring rolls around I like to move my plants around to give them a new space, and a new light. I love placing plants on bookshelves, in the kitchen, and even in the bedroom. The kitchen is where we keep our succulents & cacti, and I love moving them around when the weather gets warmer. It's also fun to re-pot them and use different household items for vases!

2. *Use baskets or bins to organize household items*
(both of the bins above open up and hold other items inside!)
I love baskets! I love storing things, and organizing them by container. (I know-it's the teacher in me!) Keeping things in baskets tidies up any clutter. When you look at an empty counter top, and everything is in its own bin- it makes you feel accomplished and carefree.

3. *Paint old items, and give them a new life*
Last but not least, add some paint to old items to give them a new life. Sometimes we don't want to let go of certain household items, or sometimes we just simply don't have the money to purchase new ones. I am a huge believer in re-purposing and refinishing different items to give them a new life. With a little bit of paint, you can pretty much transform anything! My sister and I repainted this old globe because it was chipping and falling apart and with a little love- it looks brand new!

So where does Pledge Lemon Clean come in? It helps me keep my home looking vibrant! It helps keep everything clean, and it helps keep my stainless steel appliances, looking shiny. I love the fragrance, and more importantly I love how easy it is to use on multiple surfaces.
