Drink Recipes : Kickin' Bloody Mary

With Football being in full swing I thought that a Bloody Mary recipe was over due. For this recipe I decided to create a mix of a few recipes I have seen around the internet. This recipe is perfect for someone who likes a little extra kick in their drinks.

You can make this drink with or without alcohol, and you can add or remove a variety of ingredients. The possibilities are endless. Here's my favorite version of this awesome drink. Enjoy!

First, you'll want approximately 1.5 oz of vodka. Using a shaker makes this a lot easier of a process. The Powell and Mahoney mix is what I used to make this particular drink, and I really love it because it already has some of my favorite ingredients already in it. It's mixed with a bold tomato flavor, worcestershire (try saying that ten times quick) sauce and all natural spices.

Next, you'll want to take a little bit of pepper, and your hot sauce and include those into your mixer. The taste is up to you, so put as much or as little as you like. I used a pinch of pepper, and a teaspoon of hot sauce. Fill the remainder of your drink with the bloody mary mix. Add jalapenos, celery, and carrots. Shake well, and enjoy.

Easy for a Sunday-funday recipe with friends, or for a brunch pick me up! You can't go wrong.
