Workout Wear

As some of you know from reading I have been super into working out these past two and a half months, and it's pretty much changed my life. I always loved being active but for a while I had a hard time fitting it into my schedule, and for about a year I didn't exercise at all. I started fitting it into my every day life when I finished school because I had a lot more time on my hands. I didn't start working out to lose tons of weight, I did it because I was sick of eating crap day in and day out, and feeling out of breath from walking up the stairs. I really wanted to start feeling healthy and good about what I was eating. The more fried food I ate, the slower I was moving, and the more tired I was. I still have tiny cheats here and there but for the most part my every day intake is considered "clean eating." I eat a lot of greens, vegetables, fruits and proteins. It's definitely a huge life change, and it's made me think twice about what I am putting into my body.

Since I hadn't worked out in over a year my workout clothes needed a serious pick me up. I was wearing old sweats from a few years ago that were all discolored and faded...AKA not cute. I got this whole outfit [sports bra, shorts , tank] , including the workout gloves from Marshalls. It's nice to find affordable workout clothing that doesn't kill my wallet. It's an added expense now since this is a new part of my life, and Marshall's has great brands, for half the price. You can't beat it!

As some of you know I am a part of Project Fab with Marshalls this year and I couldn't be more excited to showcase some of the awesome items they carry in their stores. I decided to get all new workout gear because it made me more motivated to workout, and because I desperately needed it!

It's crazy to think that something simple like working out can mean a whole lifestyle change, but it's really true. If you're feeling down in the dumps, I suggest throwing on some funky workout clothes and hitting the gym...it cures a bad day and takes your mind off your troubles for that time..Just focus your energy into the workout, and you're golden.

If you want to learn more about Project Fab and keep up with our posts, check out Marshalls on FB for more fun updates!

Some of the items in this post were compensated through a gift card by Marshalls for the PROJECT FAB campaign, all opinions are my own. Thank you for supporting companies that support Little Tree!

    1. danielle, I love my polar watch! it's pretty accurate and awesome for even taking walks around the block.. I love mine but the only thing that's annoying is the waist band you have to wear it slides off and gets in my way during the workout ;(

  8. This outfit is so cute! I'm a bit of a workout fanatic too, for the past year I've been practicing yoga and pilates, running a lot, and now I'm a dance major at my college! I love the way eating clean and exercising makes me feel... almost like I could conquer anything!

  9. Aw your workout clothes are so cute. Mine are so bad. Like free t-shirts from school and old cotton shorts. I really need to get into a regular workout routine, but it's the first thing I cut when school gets too busy.

  10. Working out is something that comes in cycles for me. I will really devote myself to it, then I get sick (or break my foot, ugh) and I fall out of the cycle. I have to say, cute workout clothes sound like decent motivation. :)
