Knee Highs & Corduroy

Details:  Top / Old Navy , Skirt / Urban Outfitters / Boots (similar)  / C/o Lulus

This in between weather in New Jersey is perfect for outfits like this. I don't need to be fully bundled up just yet which works out great because that's my favorite kind of weather! I just got this sweater along with a few other things from Old Navy, and I must say, I am loving their fall line. I haven't shopped there in years, but I recently fell back into them because the quality is always great. I was really happy with my whole shipment of stuff and I'll be wearing some of the other stuff I bought later on this week.

It's been an exciting month with its ups and downs, but hopefully we're on the upside from here on out. I've been working like a fiend trying to thrift some of the best stuff around, and I am really happy with my selection thus far. I was hoping to get everything up by September, but it's looking more like the beginning of October now. I'm fine with taking my time because I want it to be the best it can be at this point. I am also moving out in a month, so that's also been an exciting change in my life. Home decor has been on the forefront of my mind and the possibilities are literally endless. The cool part about this move is having my own space (since college) and really making it my own. I am excited for the rest of the year to unfold. I'm also pretty excited because if you haven't heard we're supposed to have a heavy winter. Although snow isn't my favorite, I am pretty pumped about the thoughts of snuggling up in blankets with candles, hot cocoa and movies all day long. (I'm a huge loser- I already know)

What's new with you guys?  This post seems like a bit of a ramble, but that's usually how they end up when I have nothing specific to talk about. Hope you guys are having a great week! xo

  9. I love those boots. Also, I had previously forgotten about Old Navy -- but I walked in there the other day (at a friend's request) and man! they have some cute stuff. Although it doesn't ever snow in Texas, but I am ready for the 90-degree weather to cease and desist. Bring on the hot cocoa!

  12. I definitely need to check out Old Navy again sometime soon. And go thrifting too! I absolutely love your green skirt and the bold buttons on it. It looks so cute with your striped sweatshirt.
