So as I write this I am sitting on the train heading into the city for my internship. What a weekend! So much quality family & friend time I am literally partied-out. If anyone recognizes the title of this post, it's most definitely a goo goo dolls song, and I can't believe it's been stuck in my head all morning. How 1999 of me. Anyway before I get too side tracked I had something I wanted to write about today.
This weekend I started thinking about things that are important to us- all of us(myself included). I tried to pinpoint a time when I felt this happy, and I can't say I could remember. I have been having the time of my life. The most important things to me, are pretty simple things. Of course I love fashion, and I love all the things that I am doing, but most of all I feel really blessed to have some of the best people in my life.
You can have a lot of nice things, live a life that people envy..but that doesn't mean you're happy. At the end of the day you need to be able to sit back and feel content with everything (good or bad). In the past year I feel like I have become a lot closer with my family, I have rekindled old friendships, and I have embarked on a new way of life that involves following my passion. For the first time in years, I feel like things are finally starting to piece together. I don't wake up wondering when I'll be happy, or why things aren't going right, because honestly, they are. Over the past year I have gotten so much support from the people in my life that I feel like the luckiest girl in the world.
It's easy to lose sight of life when you live in your head and over worry about unnecessary things. It's easy to not be aware of what you have. Becoming aware and allowing people in is one of the greatest things I have learned in my life. It's funny how you can continue learning all of these things about yourself even when you think you have it all figured out. Happy Monday everyone! xo
yeah, life is composed by little thing! ^^

Great post! It's so true about living too much in your head. I do that too. And sometimes I do things too much for other people or because of what I think they'll say or think, but lately I've been living my life based on how I want to live it! Happiness is key! Lovely outfit!!
