Simple black

This week I was spoiled. I had two days off in a row, and I literally did nothing. It was great. By "I did nothing" I really mean I got a lot done and did homework for a few hours a day, but you know what I mean! Compared to the usual daily routine it seemed as though my load was extremely light, and I definitely need a little bit of that sometimes just to get back on track. The weather has been gorgeous around here. Not too windy, and so sunny. I have been really happy to be able to snap these pictures while the sun was still out at a decent hour. Usually by the time I get off of work it's already sleeping, and I come home to a dark sky.

All this time on my hands has helped me plan somethings out in my head that I didn't necessarily know how to approach. I've been thinking a lot about my future plans, my goals, and where I see myself a few months from now when graduation takes place and school is no longer. I've had some opportunities arise over the past few weeks that I am still considering, and wondering what will happen next. It's all a really exciting time, and I am also pretty excited to start this internship in trend forecasting. I'm excited to become inspired by new things and make new connections. It's all a little scary to be honest, but the only way out is through, so I have to push myself out of my comfort zone to be able to get anywhere.

I'm at a point in my life where I know what I want, and I know what I am looking for. I won't settle for less then that. It's a pretty amazing feeling to finally feel like everything is coming together. It's about time, right?

  3. The off time from the hustle and bustle is always really rewarding when you have time to sit and think.
I'm actually getting to the same point you are at now. I think I FINALLY know what will make me happy.
I had a long term plan once but things change and life throws you curve balls. 2013 sure is looking up though!

  17. Something I've been wondering about recently. I noticed you now sport acrylic nails. Why did you start wearing them vs natrual nails? Are they stronger and require less matinence? They are lovely and I'm just a bit curious.
