I love the fall mostly because layering comes into play. I love being able to wear a few things and feel completely comfortable. I wore this outfit to class the other day and the loafers were the perfect touch touch of red. I am loving this jacket too, I have about 3 faux leather jackets now, one being a bomber jacket, and they all give me a different look depending on what I'm wearing. I love being able to switch it up depending on my mood.

I can't believe it's already the end of October and we're heading into November already! It seriously blows my mind that I will be 26 in a little over a month. I remember this time last year anticipating turning a quarter of a century and being all bummed out, wondering when my life would "start". Now I could really care less about the fact that the number is getting higher. I think with age comes a lot of knowledge. It's probably one of the best things we have.

My weekend was pretty good, I went to an 80's party on Friday which was a lot of fun, and then on Saturday I was asleep around the time I usually go out, which is rare for me, but I am pretty sure my body needed the rest. This weekend is going to be exciting, it's Rutgers homecoming but also there will be a lot Halloween parties going on, so I can finally dress up and pretend to be Katy Perry for the night. Do you guys have anything planned this weekend?

  2. I'll be 25 in two weeks & up until I few days ago I was really freaking out & feeling bummed about having done "nothing" with my life thus far. Luckily I've been a little more philosophical about it lately so I'm feeling better. Also, you always have the best jewelry.

  5. Love this outfit. It's still too warm to layer in AZ, but we're supposed to see better temperatures this week. I cannot wait to unpack my fall clothes! You've inspired me to paint my nails black today... :) XO

  6. I love this outfit, it's too cute!. The shoes are super super cute, I would love a pair! The jacket is incredibly awesome, and so are the jeans, and as usual, I love your hair. So envious that you have decent weather over there that you can wear something so cute, we are sadly sitting at -6 c right now, and there is no way I could think of wearing something like that, -sigh-. The woes of living in Canada.

  8. How do you be so cute?
I too am looking forward to halloween partying, and spending this week getting the remainder of my costume together. I probably left some things a little late, but it's not quite the eleventh hour yet!

  15. Girl those shoes (AND that circle ring) are the bees knees!

I can't wait to see how you do Katy Perry! haha I'm gonna be Glinda the Good Witch and Veruca Salt. This weekend we're going to our rock bar, Clash Bar in Clifton. If you ever are looking for a rad, clean dive bar you should totally come by. There are always live bands (I can't promise they're any good), but the drinks are cheap and I love the crowd. We've been loyal fans of theirs for two years now. :)

  17. Oh girl, I love being comfortable too. I just mentioned that in my blog post tonight. If I am wearing something I am not comfortable in, either style wise or actually something with light, very tight sleeve bands, or an uncomfortable material, I change ASAP.

BTW, I love this outfit. Like, love love this outfit. I need the shirt!
