Lost In A Fairy Tale

Details: Dress- Delias // Boots- Bakers // Rings-Vintage // Floral Crown-F21 // Glasses- RayBan

Prior to taking these photos, I had another location in mind. I went to said location and unfortunately there were people everywhere, cars, etc.  I ended up taking a short walk with my tripod and somehow found this hidden passage in the woods. I walked through what seemed like a small set of trees, but it opened up to a huge trail. I felt like I was in a fairy tale, there were berries growing, animals everywhere, and the sounds of the trees blowing in the wind. I had to stop and look around for a second just to catch my breath. Something so beautiful, has been hidden here all these years, and I never once took a chance to notice it. As I walked further and further into the woods, I found myself getting a little antsy, wondering if someone or something was hiding back there. We've all seen the movies, girl walks into woods, gets captured, the rest is history. It's a bit embarrassing but it felt quite movie like, and it was extremely calming at the same time.  The sun was shining right through the trees at the exact moment I walked through the passageway and it felt perfect. Sometimes all it takes is something so small, to make the day a whole lot brighter. This is definitely one of my favorite locations to date, and I have a feeling it's going to be making an appearance on this blog quite often.

  4. this is so so pretty- and i was thinking just that, too- fairy like. it goes perfectly with what yo were wearing too, what with the white dress and flower crown. my parents live on the forest preserves so i know just the feeling; it feels so calm and ethereal there.

  12. My favourite thing about this post is that you said "I went to said location."

Oh and that STUNNING white dress :)

It's nice that you found such a beautiful location. I do shoots with my sister sometimes and we often find little nooks of greenery in the oddest of places. It's the best thing that can happen on a shoot :)

  18. Like a modern day snow white, seriously! You are the fairest of them all :)
Be careful in beautiful meadows now a days though, there might be a sparkly vampire hiding in the bushes ;)

  19. These photos are stunning! I'm tempted to buy this dress and dye it a different colour for a wedding as I love the shape and details. I used to get catalogues for Delias when I was younger and I looooved looking through them, but could never buy anything from there as we don't have one in Canada.

Anwyays, you look gorgeous as usual miss! Love these photos...they're dreamy/
