This beautiful weather is spoiling me. Every time a cold wind hits I get mad and wonder why it's not summer already. I don't know what the weather is like by where you guys live but around here it's either warm, or freezing...not many in betweens. I'm starting to feel a little bit better, but still not 100% just yet. I am hoping that by the weekend I have myself back to perfect health, and I can enjoy what is left of my weekend-freedom. I have pretty much come to terms with having to work weekends, I am not happy about it, but what can I do? Sometimes unfortunately you have to do things you don't want to do. And that's all there is to it.
This weekend I am attending my first Kentucky Derby party. Something tells me my hat isn't big enough, I think I need to go way bigger, with a lot more flare. I always loved seeing the women with their giant hats parade around in their dresses and look fancy. Any suggestions on giant hats I can buy?
I'm leaning towards the horse-hat...it's the classiest, and it's to the point.
you look super beautiful :) love the photos!
ReplyDeletelooks great and very beautiful <3
ReplyDeleteha-ha! maria, whatever hat you decide, i hope you share so we can see it. here's to feeling better on the weekend, even if you have to work. i'm in love with your blouse.
ReplyDeleteThe horse hat is definitely the classiest. No question.

I have always wanted to go to an event where I can wear a big fancy hat. I live in the NY area, too, and I can't STAND this weather! I just want it to be warm already! I'm a native Floridian and summer is calling my name- wish mother nature would make up her mind!
ReplyDeleteI really love your blog! You're one of the few bloggers that actually come off very personable in your posts. I hate that blogging has become very "clique-y" but I'm glad I found a blog like yours with someone who stays true to themselves! :)
