It's A Grand Old School

Details: Dress/Mossimo, Rings/Courtesy of INPINK & Vintage, Hat/UO, Saltwater Sandals/Zappos

It's crazy to think that I went to this school when I was only 9 years old. I had just moved back from Cyprus with my family and I was going into the 4th grade. I remember standing outside those doors, waiting to meet my classmates and teachers, and feeling as small as ever. What is even crazier is now is that sixteen years later, I will be going to a new school and probably feeling the same butterflies I felt back then. In a few short weeks I will be scheduling classes, and then in August is our big orientation which is a week long event of activities and meetings with our advisers. I am anxious to say the least. I know I keep bringing it up, but it's one of the major things that is bringing my days forward and in constant motion. Every single time I feel overworked or upset, I just remember that there is so much more coming, and that's enough to keep me motivated for now.

The weekend is finally upon us, and I am excited, but since I have to work the excitement really hasn't ensued yet. Today I am meeting some friends and family members at the Greek festival our church is having. Even though I have work Saturday morning, it'll be worth being tired for! Nothing will feel better than some good food, friends and cold drinks, especially after a week like this one! I hope you all have a great weekend, and don't forget to enter the two giveaways going on right now!

  14. I adore that sweet dress and those awesome shoes! I've been seeing salt water flats around the blogosphere lately, and I'm temped to get a pair. Are they comfortable to walk around all day in?
