Hey Mom cut it out, we know you're cute
Just some snapshots of visiting the FIT campus two days ago, we had such a great day. Most of the day was taken up by the counselors talking about the programs and people asking questions about their major. I was really excited to hear that it's pretty possible to work, and go to school full time. I wasn't sure if I was going to have to take classes every day but it sounds like their classes only run once a week so if I can get them all on the same days, I should be good to go.
The campus was filled with people sitting outside, eating, and doing work on the benches. I really loved the surrounding area of the campus, and it was a great place to just soak everything in. It was also really inspiring to see everyone dressed so fancy, but look like they weren't trying at all. For once I finally felt like I was meant to be somewhere, and it all felt right. I can't explain how excited I am for this new chapter in my life. I usually have a hard time adjusting to change but I believe that deep down I really needed this. It's like I am finally seeing the light for the first time, in years.
I think what really caught me off guard was the fact that through this whole experience I realized that I am capable of anything. I can make plans, and follow through with them. It's not impossible, and once you spring into action, the world is at your fingertips. Sometimes it takes a defining moment like that to put everything into perspective.
what a great looking couple...
