This week I have gotten the chance to play with Alex's 55-mm lens, and let me tell you- it's perfect! I am pretty sure I need to get one of these for myself, because I love how the pictures come out. Today is another beautiful day, not quite 88 degrees like yesterday, but perfectly comfortable. My day off from work was pretty phenomenal, my parents and I really enjoyed spending time together. I really can't remember the last time the three of us did something like that, but it was really fun getting out of NJ for a few hours, and taking the train ride into the city. I fell even more in love with FIT than I thought I would. I took a lot pictures and really tried to soak it in as much as I could. It's funny when you finally realize that life is about to change before your own eyes. It's truly an amazing thing, and it's compels you to look towards the future with a different mindset.
I spend most of the day smiling and asking a thousand questions about the program. I found out a lot of things that will definitely be beneficial for me specifically, so I am really happy I went. I don't want to give it all away, so I will post more on FIT later, and include the pictures I took while in the city. I hope you're all enjoying the weather, and if not, get out there and enjoy it. My days of being stuck in a hospital are numbered, and that is a very exciting thought.
So cute - love the dress and the boots. I am so happy for you and the fact that your days of being stuck in a job that doesn't make you happy are coming to an end. Life is too short to hate your job :).
