Virginia Is For Lovers.

Hi friends! I feel like I haven't blogged in decades, even though I know it's only been a few days...Last week was a bit hectic, between being sick, trying to work & getting ready for this past weekend in Virginia. This past weekend a friend of Alex's (and now mine as well :] -) from highschool had her wedding in Warrenton, VA. The location was absolutely breathtaking. Trying to explain it is hard because there was a lot of beauty tucked into the woods that make up Airlie Center. Everything in this hidden estate was walking distance, including the cottages & reception areas for the wedding; so it was extremely convenient to get from one place to the other. Alex and I spent the free time we had exploring the estate and riding the bikes they provided on the estate. I saw more weeping willow trees than I will ever forget, and fell in love with each one more and more each time. (that's my favorite tree, if you didn't know!) Overall, it was an amazing weekend spent with friends, and it was a mini vacation even for us, because how often do you just stop and relax on a tiny plantation in the middle of nowhere Virginia? Needless to say, it was nothing short of magical, and it was a weekend I will always remember! Here are some of my favorite snapshots & some photos of us in town.
