I think we're all guilty of forgetting what is important sometimes. Sometimes we need little reminders from the people we love to take a look around and stop being so focused on the things that stress us out. I always forget to relax, and every few months I stop, breathe and realize that I need to slow down. Part of my personal therapies include fixing up this little place I like to call home. It's a way for me to relax and really get my mind in order.
Some of my favorite days involve just lounging around and enjoying the peace and quiet. It's true what they say that nothing feels better after a day out than sitting on your own couch and putting your feet up. Even though there are a million things going on right now, I just have to remember to breathe and stay true to myself. That's all you can do in a time of chaos right?
