Get Your Workout On With U By Kotex!

This shop is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group™ and U by Kotex but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #UbyKotex  http://my-disclosur.es/OBsstV

As a woman, we have the dreaded issue of having to deal with the same problems every single month. I don't need to go into graphic detail and men feel free to skip this post, but let's be honest here ladies..It sucks! What's worse than having your period every month? Having to workout on your period. Since I started a strict fitness routine, I rarely take random days off. I try to be in the gym at least 5-6 days a week, and usually I do some kind of exercise if I can't make it in. I have been lucky enough to figure out that working out on your period is possible...with the right products.

Enter : U By Kotex. A simple, yet sleek way to hide this awful problem without breaking your budget, and still providing your body the comfort it needs. I use U By Kotex because I want to enjoy working out all month long, and not have to take "time outs" because of what my body is going through. I needed a product that could really help me do that, and U By Kotex is definitely my favorite. To get my products, I shopped at my nearby Walmart (everyday low prices y'all), and to my surprise I got free goody elastics with both of my purchases. Who doesn't love free stuff, right? They are attached to the box ,  and you can find them on U By Kotex sleek tampons or cleanwear pads while supplies last at your nearest Walmart.

I'm not going to lie to you, working out on your period isn't the greatest thing in the world, but it's a part of life so you have to just roll with the punches. Do any of you remember high school gym class and "having cramps?" All of the girls in my class would use the excuse to get out of gym class and we would just sit on the bleachers and watch everyone else run around. If I had known then what I know now, I would have probably just gotten through the gym class without complaining. Exercising actually makes me feel a lot better when it's "that time" of the month. Getting your body moving is the best way to train your brain into thinking that you'll feel better, and it actually works!

In a few months I will be nearing on one whole year of working out! Crazy isn't it? When your body becomes accustomed to something, you can't remember what it was like before. I literally can't imagine not incorporating exercise and nutrition into my life now. I love that I feel better, that I have more energy, and most importantly, I love how I feel. Working out isn't about losing weight, but more so feeling like you're putting your best foot forward. Of course the changes that happen to your body are all amazing, and great, but really it's about reaching your highest potential, and owning it. Do you guys have a special routine? And if so, how do you use it to de-stress and make your life better?
