Biscuits For 80's Babes

Details: Vintage Children's Print Midi Skirt // C/o Choies , Sweater // Urban , Rings // Vintage , Neckace // Lune Vintage , Glasses // C/o Glasses USA, Red Loafers (similar) C/o Lulus

Well this skirt hands down wins the craziest skirt award for being in my closet. I love everything about it and how weird it is because it's definitely not something you'll see anyone else walking down the street wearing. It kinda reminds me of those old 80's tv shows where the kids all eat breakfast around the round table and Susie is late for school while Johnny eats the last of the pancakes. I'm a sucker for all things 80's I pretty much can't get enough. Since my sister is 8 years older than me growing up I liked everything she liked. I was born in 1986 but I feel like I didn't miss any of the 80's because she had everything on tape, and she always made me watch what she wanted. It's funny how years later I still love the same stuff.

Anyway, I digress. In other news, I am moving in less than 2 weeks! I have to start packing, and I have to start getting myself in order because pretty soon, it's going to be-- go time. This kind of makes for a crazy shop update because I haven't gotten the chance to shoot the final pieces of my collection. I am busting ass and taking names if anyone's wondering. Life seems pretty crazy at the moment, I have been super stressed and trying to just take one day at a time. I know once everything falls together it'll be easier to think straight but I can't help but feel overwhelmed.

Shrug. It'll get better right? It always does! HAPPY HUMP DAY-EY.

  2. The midi skirt is something not many women (in my opinion) can rock. I'm about your height and have given them a try about three times and each time I'm disappointed to see that they don't look right on me!
Yet, the midi looks great on you! Own it, gurl.

  8. That skirt is hilarious and awesome. I always love having slightly wacky pieces in my wardrobe because -- as you said -- you're definitely not going to see anyone else wearing them.
