What's Next ??

This past week was a blur, and I'm glad it's finally over, time for the future to start unraveling and for moves to be made. I had a moment of clarity while walking into graduation (you know when the commencement music starts playing) and I teared up for a split second because I realized how much all of this means to me. I've had family and friends asking me, "So, what's next?"  and I can't help but laugh or smile partially because I don't know what's next, but also because the possibilities are endless. We don't know what we can accomplish until we start falling into the path we make for ourselves.

So what's next?
I want to be happy, and I want to spend time with the people I love.
I want to do work, that doesn't feel like work.
I want to make decisions spur of the moment and live impulsively through change and spontaneity.
I want things to fall into place on their own without any forcing or pushing.
I want to see everything I possibly can.
I want to enjoy life more than I ever have before.

Because, I'll tell you one thing. Life is short. It's sweet, short and beautiful. It's exactly what you make of it. It gives to you, what you give to it, and it can be as beautiful or as ugly as you want it to be.

This stream of consciousness turned into something I didn't plan, but that's usually how my writing goes. I have a great set of posts coming up this week, and I can't wait to post them. I've fallen back into blogging so easily, and I remember now why I love it so much. Expression is a powerful thing.

I hope you guys had a great weekend , xo

  3. Congratulations!!! Well done! I'm about to graduate soon and am asking myself the same question: what's next? But you summed it up so nicely - as the most important thing is to be happy and have people you love around you. That's all we need after all and all what actually matters. :)
