This is Life.

Reading: I am finally getting around to reading again. Not just blogs either. Although we all know that's our favorite thing to do. I could seriously browse the interwebs for daaaaays. I just got On the Road by Jack Kerouac and every free chance I get, I read a little bit. I also started my online class a few days ago so I am also reading a lot about product development, and it's actually really interesting.

Watching: Honestly not much; not TV at least. I watched Amelie the other night, and I also got around to watching Return to Oz, which is one of my favorite childhood movies. It's a creepy sequel to The Wizard of Oz that never really became famous. It's like my little tiny secret treasure movie. (I guess not anymore-ha). Fun fact: This is the movie that got me interested in skeleton keys. Since I watched it when I was six I have been obsessed with collecting keys.

Listening: to Head and the Heart. I am officially obsessed. I know they have been around a while, and to be frank I have had their album downloaded for over a year, but for some reason I never sat and listened to it. The other day I saw a video of theirs posted on Kinsey's blog and I started listening to them, and haven't stopped since. Favorite songs? "Lost in my mind" and "Winter song"(watch this video, it's pure magic)

Wishing: For warmer weather. I know, I know. Snow is great. But so is feeling my body after I get in the car. Yesterday was frigid and I must say I lack serious motivation when the weather gets bitter like this. So summer, if you're listening, hurry it up.

Loving: My new bamboo tablet. As you can see in the picture above I have been practicing. I am finally starting to get the hang of it, and I seriously love it. One of the best Christmas presents ever! :)

Looking forward to: My new internship at the end of the month, and my final semester at fashion school. It's been a crazy journey and I'm a big dork, so the more I learn the more excited I get. I am excited to finish up my classes, and get the ball rolling on a new career. I am also excited for some upcoming collaborations with some companies I really adore.

This post was inspired by Danielle of Sometimes Sweet who started this series of posts a while back.

Can we also talk about how this happened, and made my year.
I didn't stop smiling for a few hours.

HAPPY FRIDAY. XO

  2. I'm determined to do some proper reading this year too, I spend so much reading blogs I forget to read actual fiction at all. I'm starting off easy though, and re-reading the final Harry Potter book. Congratulations on the UO tweet as well, I would be ridiculously excited xo

  16. AH! I loved my bamboo. I hope you have a LOT of fun practicing. Also, you look adorable in that picture. :D

I'm getting around to reading again as well, mostly the free weekly best sellers on Amazon's Kindle List and I found an EPIC site called BookLending.com where you basically lend an ebook from someone; like a digital library. Authors can choose if their book is available for this or not.

However, during the holiday craze, I didn't get much blogging - or blog reading - done so I am slowly catching up now!!!

    Happy 2013!
