Texas Style Council: The Swap

Hi ya'll (still speaking with my Texan swang) it's so nice to finally be back in front of a computer! I can't say enough about how much fun we had in Texas this weekend, it really was a complete blast. I uploaded all of my photos last night and decided the best way to explain/show what went on is to split everything up into a few posts, because I am not kidding when I say I have nearly 300 photos. I really want you guys to get a good feeling of what the past few days have been like so I will try my best to explain what went on, and what we did. I got to meet some of the COOLEST ladies on the planet including Amy, Elise, Elizabeth, Andrea, Jenni, and Roxy (to name a few).  Here are some photos from our first official night at TxSC for the swap with Lulu's. Also, if you guys have been following me on instagram, there are tons of photos on there as well! Here are some of my favorites of the night. The ones taken by Amy are posted too :)

events took place. They're such sweet girls! [Amy's photo]

Me & my wine, and Amy!

Although the weather didn't really want to cooperate with us, we still made it work, and Lauren and I tried to make the best of it. Although I must admit one of the days we got so soaked that it took my jacket almost 2 days to dry (I had to wring it out) and my shoes were filled with water as well. This included me standing on the side of the road throwing my hands up and begging for a taxi, luckily someone felt bad enough to pull over. The third day(Sunday) was when the sun finally came out, and the weather was perfect! It's a shame that we didn't experience that the whole time, but we got some funny stories out of it, and it wasn't so bad once we got to the events, and had a few glasses of wine.

There are so many fun stories and things to talk about that I am completely overwhelmed having to recap the past few days...I really feel so lucky to have attended a conference with such amazing, talented and inspirational women. I feel lucky to have started blogging, because otherwise this wouldn't even be happening. They weren't kidding on the brochure when they said "hug your new best friends goodbye" because honestly, I felt like I knew these girls for YEARS. Everyone I met had so many unique qualities & stories to bring to the table, and I left the conference feeling inspired & happy. Lauren and I pretty much laughed the whole ride home (which by the way took almost 12 hours today-we missed one of our flights) because of all the fun stories/inside jokes we now have. Like I said, I have so many photos so I will post more as the days go on, I didn't want to over-do it. Hope you all had a great weekend, and if you have any photos from this weekend, feel free to send them my way!

  10. It was so fun meeting you ladies this weekend, and I'm sorry you had to lay across people's laps in my car like it was college. But it was fun, and I'm hopeful we can all meet up again!
