Happy Mother's Day to the sweetest, most amazing person I know. My mother is absolutely selfless in every sense of the word. She has always taught me to follow my heart, no matter what situation I am in. She knows me inside and out, and knows what I am thinking before I say a word. I rarely see her in a bad mood, and rarely does she ever complain even when she wants to. She gives everything 110% from the minute she wakes up, till the moments she rests her eyes to sleep. My Mom gives everyone a chance, loves people, and genuinely loves helping others in any way possible. I feel very lucky to have such a great model to follow. She inspires me to do good things, and to put love into everything I do. She motivates me to follow my dreams, and to believe in myself, even when I feel defeated(which is very often). Anyone who comes in contact with my Mom always falls in love with her outlook on life and her amazing attitude..she is truly an angel, and I feel blessed everyday to know that she has raised me in such a way that I can do the right thing, and always stand up for what I believe in.
Happy Mother's Day Mom

Could not have said it better myself. Our mama is, in one simple word, a saint. She has not one mean bone. She sees the good in everyone and has been put on the planet to make people smile and believe in the goodness of others. She is a breath of fresh air and a wonder. She is my rock and my foundation. She deals with me like no other can. In her is this inner light, this hope and meaning and beauty. I count my blessings for having her in my life as my mother and best friend.

Maria, your comment on my blog was such a surprise! I love this tribute to your mom because it's completely true. What an amazingly generous & loving lady.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking about you the other day. Cami has hit this phase where she just doesn't want to brush her hair. And it made me think of how as a two year old she would just sit there for the longest time when you'd French braid her hair. . . I bet if you were around she wouldn't fight me every morning :)
Your mom is stylin' and profilin'! I love that picture.
ReplyDeleteNow it all makes sense, Mars.
Love old photos. your mom is a babe.
