Vintage Clothing with Sara Sophia- Tout Est-Des Roses

Vintage can seem a little intimidating----especially if its not something you are used to wearing or if you are (like me) drawn to really bright patterned vintage pieces.
I have found that by simply using the basics most of us will already have in our closet, it becomes really easy to add in those crazy vintage pieces that catch your eye.
I wanted to show you all a few outfits I'd put together using two vintage dresses that are heavy on pattern and awesomeness ;)
There are four outfits total, and even though the items I've paired with them are pretty bland basics, the vintage looks are pulled together because of their simplicity.
So for those dipping their toes into vintage---this is a great way to get started.

(1st outfit: Vintage dress from Twitch Vintage, UO blazer, UO booties, Anthro sale rack slip, and borrowed belt.
2nd outfit: Vintage dress from Twitch Vintage, Modcloth vest, Dollhouse black oxfords.
3rd outfit: Vintage dress from Twitch Vintage,  lace tee from Target, borrowed flats, vintage Gap leather belt.
4th outfit: Vintage dress from Twitch Vintage.  belt to turn the dress into a tunic, Gap skinny jeans, UO boots.
Outfit worn while talking: Vintage skirt from Goodwill, Dandyrions fox tee, borrowed raggy scarf, Dollhouse black oxfords)
Vintage and handmade clothing is a huge habit of mine---and it makes every
day happier to swathe myself in wearable art.
I hope everyone has so much fun diving into creating a fun Spring wardrobe
using the things you already have and new-found treasures!!
A thousand thanks to Chantilly and Maria for inviting
me to participate in this amazing Spring style extravaganza.
Love, Sara Sophia
